Let Me Tell You Briefly What Happened

It was Sunday, May 23, 1993; the kids had just gotten home from church. My mom was heading to the "RV park store" at the corner of Highway 181 and Highway 191 in Sunizona, Arizona. She asked my little sisterDanielle to go for the walk while my dad stayed home with my 5 other brothersand sisters cooking dinner.

Along the way, they stopped at my sisterís house to see if she wanted to go. She declined but said " Stop by on the way home and I can come home for dinner with you". They left and proceeded on the 3-mile walk to the store, arrived at the store purchased cigarettes and ice cream and headed home. Only they never arrived home!

My sister went to our parent's house later that evening assuming that my mom and sister had forgot her. When she got there my dad said they hadnít come home yet. My sister went to the store and there were no signs of them anywhere. They called all the family friends they could think of, some hadn't seen them and others had seen them walking to and from the store that day. None had stopped to offer them a ride, as this was normal to see someone from the Pitcher family walking about town.

My dad called the police. They came out with a cadaver dog and the dog picked up their scents leaving my parents home, going to my sisterís, leaving my sisterís, going to the store, leaving the store and along side of the road at the 'S' curve. The scent just disappears as if a vehicle had picked them up. The police claim they had conducted a door-to-door search in the small town of Sunizona, Arizona. Yet all the townís people we have spoken to do not remember them coming to any of their doors.

Since my dad had the kids to raise and he really didnít know whether he was coming or going anymore, he asked if I would deal with all the legal things that needed to be dealt with i.e., the police, media and whatever came up, so since then I have.

My dad packed up the younger kids and moved back east to be closer to us older children and his family. He got very sick and in January of 1998 he died of cancer leaving us older kids to raise the 4 younger ones that were still living with him.

It's been a long road for all of us. Some of my brothers and sisters turned to drugs to take away the pain. Some block everything out. Myself however I found that working on this case and one day solving it is what keeps me going. I want to bring my family peace by laying my mom and sister to rest with their loved ones where they should be.

So please if there is anything you can do to help us in our search for my mom and sister please notify me immediately! We accept donations, and what we really need is paper, ink for printers, plain white t-shirts, envelopes and stamps. I thank you for your time and hope to hear from you and getting any help possible.

If you are able to send any of the above items please send them to:
